Think Outside The Box with Colorful Interiors

The news we have been waiting for! The latest color palette has been announced from the Pantone Color Institute. There is a nice mix of earthy tones and energetic hues. Although they may seem very different, these 10 colors go together like ingredients to make a cake. We’ve cooked up some inspiration for some delicious and colorful interiors.

Introducing the 2025 Palette

We weren’t lying when we said it was a mix! At first it may seem overwhelming, but we see so much potential and variations. There are so many possibilities! This palette features three greens, two blues, and two brown-ish options.

Neutral Greetings

Showing more warm tones than in the past, these neutrals are soothing and interesting. They will add spirit and comfort to the home design color schemes of the present and well into the future.

Kitchen Color

White cabinets, white countertops, and white backsplash have always been very popular. Although they are absolutely beautiful, when you love color, the kitchen should match that vibe. After all, it is the heart of the home, right? Get that heart pumping with some color. Take this kitchen, for example. They extended the backsplash to the whole wall to create visual appeal as well as a very lively energy. The cabinets have a Mid-century Modern vibe with the wood grain and flat panel doors. The lower cabinets and countertop are cloaked in this year’s neutral Moonbeam to pull everything together.

Appetizing Hues

Just like salty and sweet compliment each other unexpectedly, sometimes colors can do the same. One may not expect yellow and orange to look so good together…but check this out. The trick to this dining area is the balancing act of the dramatic orange pop with the yellow bench, all grounded with the soothing white toned furniture and flooring. This allows the space to be fresh without overwhelming visitors.

Mudroom Oasis

The space commonly known as “the drop zone” does not have to be chaotic! It can be tranquil, and let’s show you how. Floor to ceiling cabinetry painted in a soothing light green brings peace amidst the craziness. And those baskets that help with organization, plus tie in the bench seating? Amazing!

Living In Color

Purple brings with it sophistication and a luxury feeling. What better fit for colorful interiors than this year’s Crocus? It is bold, yet inviting. This upholstered chair thinks outside the box with the typical living room look. And boy does it mesh nicely with the vintage boom box and green frame.

The New Modern Movement

Modern used to mean shiny surfaces with trending colors. But today’s modern embraces flat surfaces with warm schemes. Mostly organic, muted, and natural elements. Sheer window coverings can help with the new modern by bringing the natural world into view, while helping with things like pesky glare and unwanted light. The right solutions will let you enjoy the right amount of light with a view, while retaining privacy in places where nature calls. The blue and beige tile introduce color into this otherwise neutral space for an absolute win.
